Gaza is not just the name of cities destroyed by bombs, houses buried under rubble and streets buried in silence by the Israeli terrorist state. Gaza is the name for interrupted childhoods, shattered families, extinguished hopes, and a deep wound inflicted upon the conscience of humanity. The immense destruction and civilian casualties resulting from the military brutality that Israel has waged for 79 years across Palestinian territories and, most recently, in the final stronghold of Gaza have laid bare one of the gravest humanitarian catastrophes of our time. Neighborhoods that were once home to people, where children played in the streets and families dreamed of the future, are now struggling to survive in the shadow of rubble and suffering. Hey! You Western nations and leaders who boast of having written the book on democracy! I will not ask where your humanity has gone, because I know that your humanity lies buried in the graveyards of Gaza….
The destruction of a city is not merely the disappearance of buildings, roads, and hospitals. The destruction of a city is the erasure of memories, the abrupt interruption of lives, and the severing of the ties that bind a society’s past to its future. Every home destroyed in Gaza represents the story of a family; every school damaged represents an education left unfinished; and every child who has lost their life represents a future that will never be lived. Those struggling to survive amidst the rubble are not merely fighting for shelter and safety; they are also striving to preserve human dignity, hope, and the will to hold on to life. Look at the nations of the world and the dysfunctional institutions such as the UN, the UN Security Council, UN peacekeeping forces, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Criminal Court, and the International Court of Justice that have surrendered themselves to the terrorist state of Israel… Just as history records these Israeli massacres, it also records those who remained silent in the face of them…
Today, the images from Gaza serve as a painful reminder that humanity’s technological and scientific progress is not synonymous with moral progress. If the World possessing the capacity to send spacecraft into the cosmos, develop artificial intelligence, and facilitate global-scale communication fails to safeguard the security, the right to life, and access to basic necessities for an entire people, then the issue at hand is not merely political; it is a profound crisis of conscience. Human rights, international law, and the principles for the protection of civilians are not concepts to be invoked only when they happen to align with the interests of powerful states. These principles must apply to everyone including those who hold power.
The very reason for the existence of international organizations foremost among them the United Nations is to protect people from the destructive consequences of war and oppression. Yet, the events unfolding in Gaza have led to serious questioning of the international system’s capacity to prevent conflicts, protect civilians, and effectively enforce international law… When diplomatic statements, condemnations, and resolutions are not backed by concrete actions to safeguard the fundamental right to life, they fall short for those whose lives lie buried beneath the rubble. The delay of justice deepens the suffering of the victims while simultaneously eroding trust in international institutions.
The future of Gaza cannot be measured solely by the buildings that will be reconstructed. True reconstruction is only possible when people can live in safety, children can go to school without fear, families can reunite, and justice is served. To address this, attacks on civilians must cease, humanitarian aid must be delivered safely and without interruption, the status of hostages and those arbitrarily detained must be handled within the framework of international law, and violations must be independently investigated to ensure that those responsible are held to account.
Gaza has been turned into the world’s largest graveyard by the terrorist state of Israel. Today, Gaza must serve as a turning point that awakens the collective conscience of humanity. For remaining silent in the face of a people’s suffering is not merely standing by as a catastrophe unfolds today; it also leaves unanswered the question of how much justice and human rights can be preserved in the world of tomorrow. History will hold to account not only those who carried out the destruction, but also those who took steps or failed to seize opportunities to prevent it.
The true test for humanity lies not in how powerful the strong are, but in the extent to which the right to life of the weak is protected. The memory of those who have lost their lives in Gaza, and the struggle of those striving to survive, pose this question to the world: When will humanity summon the will to put an end to the destruction unfolding before its very eyes a destruction inflicted upon an entire people? The answer to this question will determine the future not only of Gaza, but of all humanity.
Why do the Jews not abide by ceasefire agreements? As I noted at the beginning of this article, the terrorist state of Israel and by extension, those with a terrorist mindset do not adhere to the rules of international relations, nor do they show respect for human freedom and rights. For these terrorists, agreements made and signatures placed upon documents hold no meaning, nor do they carry any binding force for them…They continue and will continue to carry out these barbaric acts and massacres, unhesitatingly, before the eyes of the entire world…
