In 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 181, approving a partition plan envisaging the establishment of a Jewish state and an Arab state in Palestinian territory. Following this decision, Israel put into practice its plan to massacre Palestinians out of imperial ambitions and a desire for revenge. From 1947 to 2026, for a full 79 years, Israeli Zionists have been brutally massacring innocent Muslim people in Palestinian territories every day, without sparing women or children. Having brutally killed hundreds of thousands of people during this period, the Zionists still seem insatiable for bloodshed… The countries of the world watching this Jewish brutality have practically become accustomed to these massacres. In particular, national governments remain passive and silent, whereas their populations are not silent; however, this does not seem to have much impact on their governments either…
The UN is actually responsible for this human tragedy. In other words, with the support and protection of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council—the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, and France—Israel has subjected our Palestinian brothers and sisters to genocide, oppression, and brutality for 79 years. For 79 years, the leaders of these five countries have failed, or have been unable, to put an end to Israel’s oppression and disgrace against humanity, and it is unlikely that they will do so in the future.
If the leaders of EU countries, particularly Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Denmark, as well as the leaders of the United States, Russia, and China, were to exert some pressure on Israel, the Israeli government would be unable to continue its brutality…
What is the UN doing today about Jewish terrorism, having placed Israeli terrorists on Palestinian land? While allowing the head of this terrorist state to address the world from the UN podium during UN meetings, the Palestinian president has not even been given the right to defend his people’s rights from the podium in the face of oppression.
Many countries in the Middle East and Europe have acted as intermediaries to stop these Israelis. They have forced Israel into ceasefires and even obtained its signature on agreements, yet they have been unable to slow down the brutality and massacres perpetrated by Zionist terrorists.
Dozens of ceasefires have been signed between Israel and Palestine, but the Israeli terrorist state has complied with none of them. Let us recall and remind others of the chronology of these agreements and the reasons for their violations….
1. 1949-Arab-Israeli Armistice Agreements: Separate armistice agreements were signed between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. These agreements did not enable the Palestinians to establish an independent state; rather, they established de facto boundaries and military arrangements following the conflicts. They were not permanent peace agreements.
2. 1993-1995-The Oslo Process: Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) agreed on mutual recognition and an interim Palestinian self-government arrangement. This was not a direct ceasefire agreement, but it was an important diplomatic process aimed at achieving lasting peace. Issues such as Jerusalem, borders, refugees, and settlements remained unresolved.
3. June-December 2008-Gaza Ceasefire and the Resumption of Hostilities: The six-month period of calm agreed between Israel and Hamas through Egyptian mediation weakened due to disagreements over rocket attacks, border crossings, and the blockade. In December 2008, the conflict escalated into a large-scale Israeli military operation.
4. November 21, 2012-Egyptian-Mediated Ceasefire: Following eight days of fighting, Israel and Hamas accepted a ceasefire. The expectations included a halt to rocket attacks and the easing of restrictions on crossings into Gaza. However, the blockade, security concerns, and freedom of movement were not permanently resolved.
5. August 26, 2014-Ceasefire Following the Gaza War: After approximately seven weeks of fighting, a ceasefire was reached through Egyptian mediation. Issues such as increasing the entry of aid and goods into Gaza, the fishing zone, and border crossings were raised. However, no comprehensive political agreement was reached.
6. May 21, 2021-Ceasefire: The 11-day conflict that began following tensions in East Jerusalem and incidents around Al-Aqsa Mosque ended through Egyptian mediation. However, the status of Jerusalem, displacement, the blockade, and security issues remained unresolved.
7. November 24-December 1, 2023-Humanitarian Pause: A temporary pause in hostilities was achieved through the mediation of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. Some hostages and Palestinian prisoners were released in exchanges, and the entry of humanitarian aid increased. This was a time-limited humanitarian pause, not a permanent ceasefire.
8. January 19-March 18, 2025-Three-Phase Ceasefire Agreement: The first phase aimed at releasing hostages and Palestinian prisoners, withdrawing Israeli forces from certain areas, and increasing humanitarian aid. Under the second phase, negotiations were to be held on a permanent ceasefire and a more comprehensive withdrawal. No agreement was reached on moving to the second phase, and Israel resumed its attacks on March 18.
9. October 10, 2025-New Gaza Ceasefire: A ceasefire came into effect under a US-led plan. Like its predecessors, this ceasefire has also remained meaningless and without enforcement. The objectives included the release of hostages, increased humanitarian aid, the disarmament of Hamas, Israel’s withdrawal, and the reconstruction of Gaza. However, Israeli brutality continues to this day. This is because Israel has become a terrorist state and continues to ruthlessly massacre women, children, the elderly, and innocent people without distinction. Even the United States is either unwilling or unable to stop these Jewish terrorists….
In fact, there are many international institutions responsible for stopping Israel’s massacres and acts of genocide. Just look at them! They are all silent, merely watching Israeli terrorism!
International institutions tasked with maintaining world peace and protecting oppressed peoples include the following:
1. United Nations (UN): Its written mission! Global peace and security. It is responsible for preventing conflicts between states, supporting ceasefires and peace negotiations, coordinating humanitarian assistance, and promoting human rights. Different bodies within the UN system have different responsibilities.
2. UN Security Council: Ceasefire, sanctions, and security decisions. It is the UN’s principal decision-making body for maintaining international peace and security. It can impose sanctions, adopt binding decisions, and authorize the use of force when the necessary legal conditions are met. However, the veto power of its five permanent members prevents decisions from being adopted.
3. UN Peacekeeping: Security on the ground and the protection of civilians. In areas where it has been authorized to operate, it helps protect civilians, implement ceasefires, and support peace processes. It cannot automatically deploy troops to every conflict; its mandate, authority, and capacity are limited.
4. International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC): Protection of war victims and humanitarian assistance. It carries out protection and assistance activities for civilians, prisoners of war, and the wounded, and reminds parties to conflicts of their obligations under the Geneva Conventions.
5. International Criminal Court (ICC): Genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity… It can investigate and prosecute individuals for crimes within its jurisdiction. It addresses the criminal responsibility of individuals, not states. Since it has no army or police force of its own, it needs the cooperation of states to make arrests.
6. International Court of Justice (ICJ): Legal disputes between states. It settles legal disputes between states under international law and provides advisory opinions to authorized UN bodies. It differs from the International Criminal Court; its primary function is to resolve legal disputes between states.
There are dozens of other international institutions like these, but they are as ineffective as inactive personnel, having neither enforcement power nor effectiveness…
No excuse for the Israeli terrorist state can be accepted… Please look at the map showing the territory allocated to Israeli terrorists in 1947 by the French, EU countries, and the United States, and compare it with the map showing the territory occupied and seized by the Israeli terrorist state in 2026! For these reasons, there is only one language Israel understands: armed force and economic power… Urgent steps must be taken to build a strong economy and army in Palestine….
Lack of ceasefire monitoring and enforcement: Inadequate mechanisms to investigate violations impartially. The absence of clear sanctions to be imposed in the event of ceasefire violations. Uncertainty regarding the duties and powers of international observers or security forces. The inability of mediating countries to exert sufficient pressure on Israel…
Look, we used to say that the only country Israel listened to in this world was the United States, but today, it seems they do not listen to the United States very much either….I wonder why the USA allows Israel?
